Our replacement blades for the Boker Meat Handsaw look a little different from the one originally supplied with the saw. This is because our replacement blades for all butchers' saws are made from HARDENED steel. This is the industry standard, as blades with hardened teeth last much longer than non-hardened blades, which require sharpening from time to time. Our hardened blades are a bluish colour (caused by the hardening process), and are not designed to be sharpened.
